Welcome to the website for the Resilience Research Center, a project that will transform a vacant school building on Madison’s Southside into a state-of-the art urban agriculture and community center campus.

Food security and urban agriculture have exploded into the collective consciousness of this country over the past twelve months, in the face of a challenged economy, coupled with people’s needs for a reliable and affordable source of healthy, locally grown food. Growing Power is at the epicenter of the intensive urban agriculture movement, and we are pleased beyond words to have received the commitment from Will Allen to be one of the three primary partners in this project.

What you will find in this website is a description of an ambitious project, backed up by organizations with the demonstrated capacity to pull it off.
